The Dunblane Kwik Cricket team played their first games in the Forth valley Kwik Cricket League on the 5th May 2019.

The games were played at Stenhousemuir Cricket Club.

Our first game was against a team made up of players from various clubs and we managed to get a win.

Our second game was against  SCCC and again we managed a win.

There were good all round performances and contributions from everyone including some super batting from Magnus, a good catch from Matthew, a direct run out from Archie plus all round contributions from Daniel and Joseph..

Our next games are at Callander Cricket Club and then we host the event on the 19th May 2019

We had our first experience of competitive games yesterday in the Scottish Cup!

We were playing with quite a short bench but the team put up a great fight as the day went on and we ended on a high with a victory!

In the group stage we faced really stiff competition with some of the better teams in the league.

We start our league season in October and we’ll hopefully have more depth on the bench which should help us gain some good results! special shout out to our goalie Andy Gregory, it was his first ever tournament as goalie and he played well!

Thanks to the Scottish Floorball League and all the teams, it was a great day. See you all soon!

First League Games 7th October 2018

First game done! We lost 6-1 to the Scottish cup champions Hawick Hawks. Good effort by the team against one of the best teams in the league! Dean Lawson with the goal. Next up Fife Lightning!

First round of games done and it’s a frustrating end for us. We played 2 games back to back against Fife Lightning and Fife Thunder. We lost 7-6 to Lightning and 5-4 to Thunder. Chances to win both but we just didn’t have enough left in the tank.
